Held in the Southern California desert, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival features some of the hottest names in music as well as sweltering temperatures.

One of the most Instagram-able music events in the world is dealing with hot conditions for its final weekend of performances for 2018.

Coachella 2018 features headliners Beyoncé, The Weeknd and Eminem, along with dozens of other artists. The festival spans two long weekends and takes place every year in Indio, California, about 100 miles east of Los Angeles.

Hundreds of thousands will swarm the valley again this weekend amid sizzling conditions even though gusty winds delayed the early arrival of campers on Thursday.

Winds are forecast to be relatively light for the final day of the event on Sunday.

Afternoon temperatures will hover around the 100-degree Fahrenheit mark on Sunday, AccuWeather Meteorologist Jordan Root said. Plenty of sunshine will add to the warmth.

Anyone heading to the festival grounds during the afternoon will experience the hottest time of the day.

Attendees should stay hydrated, as the heat could lead to health hazards.

For those waiting out until the evening shows and events, it will still be hot.

Temperatures will fall into only the 80s in the evening.
