An active, stormy week ahead will be followed by chill
Two major storm systems will affect the South this week, and both will have the potential to cause severe weather including tornadoes. For much of the region, it will be a warm week but behind the second storm system, we will have much colder air push in; next weekend looks chilly for most. Out in the tropics, the Atlantic is quiet, while we have Xavier in the Pacific. Xavier will stay out over the Pacific but has the potential to be a moisture source.
