Vacation's Over

Looking at the on-air footage of Katrina today (the Tropical Storm, not the AccuWeather webcaster), I can't help but drift back to my vacation on the North Carolina coast earlier this month. I miss it already. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but it's hard to argue with pizza for breakfast and falling asleep in your chair after lunch.

When I was there, the beaches on Oak Island looked better than they had in 15 years (I'll have some pictures up soon), and I hope that's not a sign that they are in for it this year, but we all know in our hearts that the Carolinas are due and JB's forecast seems to support it.
