CAPTION: Some people living in the Florida panhandle have reasons to be especially thankful Thursday (11/22). Severe weather caused scattered damage around the city of Milton, Florida which is near Pensacola where several homes and at least one business was damaged. There have been unconfirmed reports that a tornado may have touched down in the community around 11 o'clock last night. The American Red Cross was called in to help a family find shelter after their home was damaged during the storm. A team from the National Weather Service will survey the damage to determine if it was caused by a tornado. So far there have been no reports of serious injuries.
