Thanks! To Commenters, Tweeps, FB Fans

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you, the readers, and also our Facebook fans. (And also in the intereste of full disclosure I'm having some hand pain that is keeping me off the computer this weekend, which is why I've been unusually quiet).

1. Thanks, Commenters: I really appreciate the positive Comments that have been posted on my blog over the past couple of weeks, they remind me why I am writing this blog and will be helpful to people who read these entries in the future. Often you guys point out where I have not clarified something correctly or provide additional information that I didn't know as of when I wrote the entry. For example, someone just pointed out that Hurricane Floyd was almost as big as Typhoon Tip on satellite and I clarified that.

2. Thanks, Facebook Fans (and Friends): As some of you know, I am the Admin who provides the updates on the AccuWeather.com Facebook Fan Page. J-SHOW fans also take note that I have also appeared in several videos there recently. I really enjoy doing this and appreciate all the Comments that we get on the Facebook updates, it is helping the company out in our daily decisions. I also appreciate all the Comments, Likes and updates from all of my Facebook friends (feel free to add me).

3. Thanks, Twitter Followers: I thank all of my tweeps who made the conversion from my "AccuWeather" Twitter account, which I gave up to others here at AccuWeather to provide corporate and daily updates, to my "WeatherMatrix" Twitter account, which used to broadcast these Blog Entries but now includes all the wacky personal items I used to broadcast under "AccuJesse" and the news updates that I used to provide under the "AccuWeather" name.

In other news, I know I've been having some issues displaying "J's Breaking Weather News" at right and that it's currently not working in Internet Explorer. I've been going back and forth between several providers trying to see who can best display my info there. As a reminder, that area is posted to more frequently than this blog... although as of recently it also carries these blog posts as well. If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook you will see most of the same updates but for those who don't want to join that universe, I'd like to display the updates here on my blog as well.

The J-CAM (at right) is now available in higher resolution and is finally fixed, as much as it can be; there is an alternate Archive link for Firefox users due to an IFRAME bug that I can't seem to overcome for that browser. Sometimes the archive works, sometimes it doesn't, but all browsers can always see the high-res version of the current picture.
