Rare? January Tornadoes, More to Come

Here are some stats from yesterday's tornado outbreak, which killed two people in Missouri (CNN). Although the media is calling this "rare," the SPC says that there is an average of 34 tornadoes in January, and it was just two years ago that a smaller, but significant, outbreak tore through the Southeast.
