Ironically Similar Weather Photos

This happened last week, and I wanted to point it out sooner but just didn't have time. Sometimes it's a small "photo" world. On the same day last week that this photo was uploaded by user Chessie into the AccuWeather.com / WeatherMatrix Photo Gallery:

I happened to pick this photo for the AP Photo of the Day:

Weird, huh? To me, the smoke reaching to the sky in both photos gives kind of a creepy effect, like something out of a horror movie (War of the Worlds maybe).

And then today, to top it off, I saw that Photo Gallery user Driven2Create had uploaded this photo of his Mitsubishi Eclipse parked at an outlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina:

It just so happens that I took a very similar photo of my Mitsubishi Eclipse in the exact same spot in 1993 (I pasted the photos on top of each other in Photoshop to confirm - it's the same skyline, the only difference is that I was standing further back from the car when I took it, that's why the trees in the foreground don't show up). And I've added it to the Photo Gallery to prove it:
