I'll admit it. I LOVE RADAR. My old boss used to call me "Radar Love". I just told my new boss that reading your comments in the survey was "like Christmas morning." It's true. If I'm a weather enthusiast in general then I'm a weather radar enthusiast specifically. The first time I saw the blurry 6-color WSR-57 Weather Radar dialed up in college, I was hooked. At WeatherMatrix, I created a Radar Supersite with links to world radar data, news, and anomalies. In 2005, I did the specification, and much of the design and programming for the AccuWeather.com RadarPlus service.

Why am I so obsessed with radar? Radar gives an inside look at storms that previous technology has not been able to do. It can tell us the intimate details of severe storms that allow us to save more lives.

It was my recommendation that we survey users before changing to a new color set, because as meteorologists (and even "regular people") within these walls, we may not see the world as outside folks do. So, thanks in advance for your feedback.

P.S.: I didn't get a chance to look at the survey before it went online and Question 1 is worded kind of weird. Just pretend it's ranking Most to Least important from left to right.
