Extreme Temperature Contrast Map

Today is a day of extreme temperature contrasts as this powerful storm system moves eastward. At 1 PM today, temperatures were -10 in Montana but 80 in Texas. And no state more explicitly showed the contrast of temperatures than Oklahoma, where temperatures went from the 40s to 70s in the middle of the state, with 20s in the panhandle.

Shawnee, Oklahoma (PREMIUM | PRO) dropped 15 degrees in 17 minutes at 10:00 local time this morning. They fell from 70 at 10 AM to 48 at 11 AM.
