And Even a Little Snow for WI, MI
It may be mid-May, but this storm system over the Great Lakes is bringing a little winter air down from Canada on its western side. The "AccuModel" output from our forecast database on ProfessionalPlus indicates that light snow will be possible in Wisconsin and Michigan tonight.
The National Weather Service has downgraded their Winter Storm Watch in favor of a Winter Weather Advisory for the counties in Michigan and Wisconsin shown in purple below. They warn that 1 to 3 inches of snow could accumulate on grassy surfaces, trees and power lines tonight in these areas, and, combined with high winds, could even cause power outages.
