Deadly flooding strikes the Middle East again
Flash flooding and hail combined to turn the streets of Sakakah, Saudi Arabia, in to what looks like an icy river.
The frontal boundary that caused the severe weather in Saudi Arabia has departed the region, and more tranquil weather is forecast across the country through this weekend.
There will be a brief pause in the stormy weather across the Middle East on Sunday before another series of storms arrives next week.
Areas most at risk for additional rounds of heavy rain and flooding next week include Cyprus, Turkey and Syria.
