The Full Harvest Moon is tonight
Can you believe it's already time for the Harvest Moon? Granted, it is a little earlier than usual this year.
The Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the the Autumnal Equinox; many times it occurs during the month of October. The equinox this year has just occurred (Saturday evening EDT)
The September full moon is also referred to as the "Full Corn Moon" and the "Barley Moon"
Unfortunately, clouds are widespread across most of the U.S. as a storm takes shape over the Upper Midwest. Here is a look at viewing conditions.
