Weekly weather pattern Outlook into October
A strong ridge of high pressure aloft is expected to dominate across western and central Canada during the last week of September and into the first week of October, leading to warmer and generally drier conditions compared to normal.
Farther east, temperatures for the most part in October look close to normal or slightly above into the first week of October, then perhaps trending more above normal by the second week.
The bad news is some areas are in need of rainfall, but the good news is this is a favorable weather pattern for fall foliage viewing.
