Weekly long-range weather pattern outlook

Most of the Arctic air is expected to hang out across Alaska and the Yukon Territory over the next few weeks before expanding southeastward through a large part of western Canada.
Typically when it is cold in Alaska, eastern North America is not that cold, and that will likely be the case for the first half of December.
Typical La Nina pattern with storminess will continue over the Pacific Northwest and another storm path will be directed into the U.S. Midwest, Great Lakes and Ontario.
