Warmer and drier signals in the far West for July
Below is my latest interpretation of the ECMWF weekly long-range forecast model out through much of July.
For much of the country the signals are fairly weak, but there are some stronger signals for drier- and warmer-than-normal conditions for B.C. and the Yukon Territory. Temperatures will also likely be near to below normal across much of Atlantic Canada.
There are increasing signals that an El Nino may be on the way later this year. More on that later.
