Sunshine for the Northeast today and tomorrow, then later Friday
The morning pressure analysis shows a high pressure area over the Midwest that will reach the Middle Atlantic states tomorrow.

Rain is likely to spread across the Northeast on Friday, perhaps preceded by some sleet or snow from parts of the Hudson Valley on northward. The coldest air mass to reach the Great Lakes and Northeast so far this season will move in for the weekend. These two maps show a storm affecting the Northeast next Tuesday.
