Dry and chilly in the Northeast this weekend

A band of snow is likely to affect the area from eastern Iowa to western Virginia, but only lake-effect and ocean-effect snow flurries/showers are anticipated from the eastern Great Lakes through the Middle and North Atlantic states. Much milder air seems likely to reach the Northeast for the middle and late parts of next week.
