    Metro miss, but heavy snow likely in greater Minnesota

    While the far southwest side of town could still end up with an inch or two of snow, it is looking more and more likely that the bulk (if not all) of the Twin Cities metro won't even get a flake.

    Very dry air is getting sucked into this storm from increasing easterly winds and will likely prevent the accumulating snow from reaching the metro. That said, there will be a wicked sharp cutoff to the snow accumulations on the northeast side of this band where 25 miles could mean the difference of who gets nothing and who gets 8 or more inches.… More
