A rapidly strengthening storm will bring snow and possible blizzard conditions to southeastern Massachusetts, while the Boston area will be on the northwestern flank of the heaviest snow this weekend. Snow will begin Sunday and last into Sunday night, the exact accumulation highly depends on the track of the storm. Currently, any snow totals nearing 4 inches will be most likely across the Cape and Islands, while Vermont and central Massachusetts are expected to remain dry. Strong winds near the coast, combined with high astronomical tides, will lead to moderate coastal flooding.
