New York City: First snowfall of season underway

As a clipper storm continues to move through the Northeast, accumulating snow will cause slippery streets and difficult travel across New York City through Sunday morning. Runway slowdowns and travel delays at area airports are also expected. Snowfall amounts will be similar across the city, Long Island and New Jersey with a local minimum of snow expected across southern Connecticut.
