Temperatures warming into the upper 80s and lower 90s, combined with oppressive humidity values, will yield heat indices in the upper 90s and lower 100s for the weekend and into next week. Practice heat safety by staying hydrated and checking on people without air conditioning. Know the signs of heat illness, and never leave children or animals in an unattended vehicle.
