A clipper storm will bring snow of varying intensity into Saturday afternoon in the Philadelphia area. Some streets, sidewalks and parking lots will receive a slushy coating with up to a few inches of snow in the northern and western suburbs. On Sunday and Sunday night, a storm moving up off the Atlantic Coast will graze the area with snow. Enough snow will fall around the city to make some streets and highways slippery with a few inches of snow most likely outside the heart of the city and toward the New Jersey coast. However, if the storm strengthens significantly, heavier snow may be thrown farther to the northwest, toward the city and beyond.
