Where to find the world's best rainbows
We normally see rainbows as an arc across the sky, but every now and then, you may get a rare shot at a full-circle rainbow.
As one of the most recognizable weather occurrences in modern culture, rainbows have cemented their reputation as symbols of beauty and hope. However, part of their allure is that they are also difficult to find, making the lucky few who see them feel particularly special.
No matter how many rainbows you've seen in your life, it's important to know exactly where to be to see some of the best rainbows in the world. To help you solidify your travel plans, we've created a list of seven places that are well-known for having some of the most beautiful rainbows:

Niagara Falls (United States or Canada)
Though the definitive list of the "wonders of the world" can be a problematic concept, many agree that Niagara Falls is definitely somewhere on the list. Between the natural beauty of the falls themselves and the active culture surrounding them, those looking for a wonderful vacation spot need not look any further than this unique location. Regardless of whether you're on the American or Canadian side, it's very likely that you will see rainbows frequently through the mist of the falls!
Ireland
One of the benefits of the British Isles' notoriously damp weather is the fact that rainbows appear often. This is best seen in Ireland, one of the most beautiful places in the world to see some truly dazzling rainbows.
Victoria Falls, Zambia
Largely recognized as one of the largest waterfalls in the world, the Victoria Falls in Zambia has a very similar effect to the aforementioned Niagara Falls. When the mist is at full capacity due to the intensity of the falls, you'll likely see rainbows.

Iguazu Falls, (Brazil or Argentina)
Like the other waterfalls on this list, Iguazu Falls is well-known for having some of the most beautiful sights in the world. There are many rainbows to be found in the mist of these falls, but what makes Iguazu Falls particularly unique is that there are multiple different waterfalls to gaze at. If you want something truly unlike any other, we recommend checking out La Garganta, a waterfall so monstrous that you can't even see into it!
Jasper National Park, Canada
If you want a view of rainbows that isn't in a waterfall, you should head over to Jasper National Park in Canada. Not only will you see some rainbows, but you'll also be able to hike up the beautiful Rocky Mountains!

Kauai, Hawaii
Hawaii is known as one of the most beautiful states in America. Out of all of Hawaii's islands, Kauai stands out as the place with the most rainbows. Needless to say, it rains a lot on the island. However, the number of rainbows that result are the reason Hawaii is known as "the rainbow state"!
Lake Neusiedl, Austria
Those looking to see rainbows within Europe should look no further than Lake Neusiedl in Austria. Not only is there a wonderful variety of wildlife surrounding this lake, but the chances of you catching a rainbow are also remarkably high!
No matter where you go, it's important that you remember that rainbows are occurrences that result from changes in weather. While you can plan your vacation around seeing them, you will never be able to guarantee that a rainbow will appear. If the weather is not suitable, the rainbow itself will not be created.
For this reason, it is important that you continually look up information about local weather and check forecasts. The weather can change at any moment, so keeping yourself informed of what the weather will be like is essential to seeing as many rainbows as you can. We hope this list has been helpful so that you can see as many rainbows as you would like to!
