Most accurate weather forecaster adds three to broadcast team during a period of steady growth across multiple platforms
AccuWeather Global Weather Center, April 21, 2021 — AccuWeather Network today announced the addition of three new team members strengthening broadcast and operational capabilities to continue high-quality, award-winning programming.
The latest additions to AccuWeather Network’s team include Jessica Pash, who comes to AccuWeather after spending two years as a meteorologist for FOX43 in York, PA, covering all of Pennsylvania’s weather-related activity including severe storms, major flooding and snowstorms. Prior to FOX43 Pash was a forecaster for WDTV in Clarksburg, WV. In 2017, Pash graduated from Rutgers with a B.S. in Meteorology and a minor in Business Administration.

Also joining the AccuWeather team is Michael Vojtko, the Network’s newest show producer after having spent 10 years producing segments at WTTG, Washington, D.C., in addition to previous positions at WJZ in Baltimore, MD and WNEP in Scranton, PA. Vojtko is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University.
Michelle Rotella joins the team at AccuWeather after spending nearly a decade in forecasting for local television stations including WNEP-TV in Scranton, PA, WTXL in Tallahassee, FL, WTTG in Washington, D.C., and WCCB Charlotte, NC where she was voted “Favorite Local TV Meteorologist.” Rotella holds a BS in Meteorology with a minor in Mathematics from Florida State University and obtained her Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society in 2016.

Trisha Gates has been promoted to Senior Videographer/Asset Manager with a heightened role in field content and in-house production, and Doug Hicks expands his purview as Senior Planning Producer in helping to shape editorial strategy.
