NBC's "Early Today" Will Also Air AccuWeather's Daily National Forecasts

(State College, PA, August 12, 2003) - AccuWeather, Inc. (www.accuweather.com), the world's leading commercial weather service, has been selected as the primary weather provider for CNBC, the global leader in business news that reaches more than 175 million homes and offices worldwide.

AccuWeather will also provide CNBC custom animated graphics to illustrate how weather patterns will affect business travelers, helping them to more effectively plan their trip. The live weather forecasts featuring Dr. Joe Sobel will air at 5:15 a.m., 5:45 a.m., 6:15 a.m., 6:45 a.m., 7:10 a.m., 8:10 a.m., 9:10 a.m., and 10:35 a.m daily.

As a result of the new partnership, CNBC will also have on-demand access to all 90 AccuWeather meteorologists, as well as hurricane, winter storm and severe weather experts for breaking weather news and information. When conditions warrant, AccuWeather's Storm Team Live™ service will provide live breaking weather news direct from AccuWeather's world headquarters in State College, PA.

"CNBC is the unrivaled leader in cable business news and analysis," says Joel Myers, AccuWeather founder and president. "CNBC viewers will benefit from receiving the latest and most accurate data so they can make informed decisions about business travel. In addition our 10:45 am segment will help investors understand how weather will affect financial markets and weather sensitive business such as agriculture and transportation."

CNBC Senior Vice President Business News, David Friend added, "We have been successfully working with AccuWeather since 1998, and have always viewed the company as the leader in weather forecasting.
