A dangerous outbreak of severe storms will strike the northern High Plains and Canadian Prairies on Wednesday.
Some showers are already firing up in the South with storms expected into the afternoon.
No more severe weather at Merion this weekend, but there could be a brief, pop-up thunderstorm.

A tornado similar to the El Reno one could hit a major city some day, causing thousands of casualties, tens of billions in damage and requiring a much more upscale recovery response.
Gusty thunderstorms will continue over the western Plains, Midwest and Southeast on Tuesday evening. Wind, hail and isolated tornadoes are possible, along with heavy rain.
