Minnesota State Patrol investigators are looking for a driver who hit a 24-year-old U.S. Army veteran and drove off as the victim was assisting another motorist on I-35 in Hinckley, Minn. on Monday night.

Warmth is forecast to build over much of the eastern half of the nation by July, with Alaska of all places helping out.
Isolated tornadoes and destructive winds will remain a threat, Tuesday evening, over the southeast and western plains.
The storms could affect cities from St. Louis to Evansville, Ind., Louisville, Ky., Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio to Huntington, W.Va.
Gusty thunderstorms will rcontinue over the western Plains, Midwest and Southeast Tuesday evening. Wind, hail and isolated tornadoes are possible, along with heavy rain.
No more severe weather at Merion this weekend, but there could be a brief, pop-up thunderstorm.
