Former RTDNA Chairman Takes Strategic Role in Expansion of Multi-Screen Approach
State College, PA, April 4, 2013 — AccuWeather, Inc. today announced the promotion of Loren Tobia, a former chairman of Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA), to the role of Executive Director of Sales for the Display Systems and Services division. This new role will allow Loren to expand AccuWeather’s position of leadership in multi-screen content for television and digital platforms.

Loren has over 25 years of experience in broadcast news, as television news director for stations including WTVH Syracuse, NY; KMTV Omaha, NE; and WSAZ Huntington, WV. Loren was also chairman of RTDNA in 1996 and has been treasurer of the same organization since 2001. He is a former member of CBS News Affiliates Board as well as the former chair of West Virginia Associated Press Broadcasters.
