rainfall warning in effect Heavy rain over Calgary and surrounding areas will expand southward today. Total rainfall amounts of 50 to 80 mm is expected. Rain will taper off tonight in Calgary. In Pincher Creek, the heavy rain will end Tuesday morning. ### Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
