High river levels over the next two days may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from the evening of 17 December 2025 . Rain is forecast overnight on Wednesday and Thursday with rivers expected to respond from Wednesday evening. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers. The main areas of concern are Newton Abbot, Kingsteignton, Teignmouth, Shaldon, Bovey Tracey, Kingskerswell, Dawlish and Dawlish Warren. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .
