...Elevated Water Levels Along The Coast Saturday... A strong storm moving through the Bering Sea will bring elevated waters to coastal areas from the Lower Yukon Delta to the Bering Strait. Water levels will be 2 to 3 feet above the normal high tide line. This will push water up on top of the ice through cracks and along the coast. Ice may also be pushed up on shore. Strong southeast to south winds will move into the area Saturday morning becoming southwest Saturday night and diminishing. Residents should move possessions away from the coast.
