River levels have risen due to recent heavy rainfall and are forecast to remain high through Sunday 16/11/2025 and Monday 17/11/2025. Flooding may affect locations near the Bristol Avon with low lying land and roads between Melksham and Bathford expected to be most affected. The flood gates at Holt Road may be closed. Drier conditions are forecast in the coming days and conditions will begin to improve. We are closely monitoring the situation and will issue further alerts and warnings if required. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water and consider activating any flood protection products you may have.
