Rising river levels overnight may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from the early hours of 04 November 2025 . Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near to the river Lune, Conder and Keer and other watercourses from Kirkby Lonsdale to Galgate including Gressingham, Carnforth, Hornby, Wray, Bentham and Lancaster. We are clearing blockages from debris screens and closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
