rainfall warning in effect Heavy rain will bring 40 to 80 mm by Saturday evening. Scattered showers today will organize into an area of heavy rain tonight. The heavy rain will continue through the day on Saturday before tapering off in the evening. ### Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
