Typhoon Saudel never made a sufficiently large wobble to the west. .WIND INFORMATION... West to southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph will continue through Sunday. These will then diminish slightly as we fall into an ongoing monsoon pattern. .COASTAL INUNDATION AND SURF INFORMATION... Surf will be hazardous 7 to 10 feet along north and east facing reefs. This will later shift to north and west facing reefs after Saudel crosses the island chain. Coastal inundation is not expected. .OTHER STORM EFFECTS... Tinian and Saipan could receive up to 2 inches of rain from the outer bands of Typhoon Saudel as it passes by through Sunday. They may see more rain from the monsoon surge flowing into Saudel that will develop next week.
