...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE MONDAY NIGHT... * WHAT...Dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...East facing reefs of the Marianas. * WHEN...Through late Monday night. * IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevated easterly trade swell will maintain a high risk of rip currents along east facing reefs of the Marianas through at least late Monday night. Although the primary swell energy is focused out of the east, surf is expected to hover just below hazardous criteria along north facing reefs of the Marianas, so caution is advised for those venturing out to the beaches the next several days. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. &&
