Total snow accumulations will vary considerably across the Lake and Porter Counties, ranging from 6 inches to locally over a foot near the lake to 2 to 5 inches near the Kankakee River. * WHERE...Lake IN and Porter Counties. * WHEN...Until 6 PM CST Monday. * IMPACTS...Snow rates in excess of 3 inches per hour will cripple travel. Strong northerly wind gusts in excess of 30 mph will lead to greatly reduced visibility, especially near the Lake Michigan shoreline.
