Where: Okanagan Connector - Merritt to Kelowna, Highway 3 - Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass, Coquihalla Highway - Hope to Merritt, Coquihalla Highway - Merritt to Kamloops, and Highway 3 - Princeton via Allison Pass. Additional information: A cool airmass has settled over the British Columbia with snow falling over the interior highway passes. Snow levels have risen to 1500 metres and the snow has changed to rain over the summits on the Coquihalla Highway and Highway 3 - Princeton via Allison Pass. Meanwhile temperatures remain near zero and snow continues to fall over the Okanagan Connector - Merritt to Kelowna, and Highway 3 - Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass, Tonight snow levels will lower to near 1200 metres and the risk of snowfall is possible once again for the Coquihalla Highway, and Highway 3 - Princeton via Allison Pass with accumulations between a trace to five centimetres. Over Paulson Summit and Kootenay Pass, wet snow will start near the pass this afternoon and continue through Tuesday. Snowfall accumulations from trace to 5 cm are expected through this evening. Additional amounts over 5 cm are possible on Tuesday. Please be prepared to adjust your driving as weather conditions at high elevations may change quickly.
