High tides this evening may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from 8:00PM to 12:03AM on 06/11/25. Locations most affected will be Bridge Street, Stoney Lane and Monkswell Gardens in Purewell and Christchurch Harbour. Areas most at risk include tidal stretches of the Lower Stour and Avon. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a high water level of 1.28 mAODN at 10:00PM this evening with south easterly force 3 winds. The second forecast high water is at 10:15AM tomorrow morning with a level of 1.32 mAODN with southernly force 4 winds (mAODN is height above average sea level). Flooding is possible 2 hours either side on the high tide. We are closely monitoring the situation . Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
