A low pressure system is expected to bring rain and strong winds to the region Friday and Saturday.
This low pressure system is expected to form off the United States eastern seaboard and track northeastward towards the Maritimes on Friday. The system will primarily bring rain and strong winds to the province beginning on Friday and ending during the day on Saturday. There is also the possibility of higher than normal water levels along the Atlantic coast Friday night and Saturday.
At this time, there is considerable uncertainty in the track and timing of this low which will affect the expected amount and type of precipitation.
