The Rivers Kent and Bela and their tributaries have now peaked. . Further rain overnight is not expected to cause any significant impacts and levels will continue to fall into tomorrow morning. Locations that remain affected are low lying land and roads around the Rivers Kent, Bela and other watercourses, from Kentmere to Silverdale including Staveley, Burneside, Kendal, Milnthorpe and Beetham. We are continuing to monitor the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 05 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
