After several weeks of a cold and snowy pattern, a chinook warming pattern will bring substantially warmer air into the southern Interior from the Alaska Range up across the Tanana Valley. Temperatures in the area are expected to rise into the 30s, and possibly even warmer near the Alaska Range. South winds through the Alaska Range may reach into the 50-70 mph range.
