Women's World Cup in France: Will weather impact Thursday's matches?

Will the recent stretch of unsettled weather across France impact any of the Women's World Cup group phase being played on Thursday?

As the group phase continues late Thursday, no rain gear will be needed for the match in Montpellier between Australia and Brazil at 6 p.m., local time.

Sunshine will mix with clouds, but rain will stay absent. It will be a comfortable evening with temperatures near 20 C (68 F).

Women's World Cup play returns to Paris at 9 p.m., local time, on Thursday.

Most of the widely separated showers and thunderstorms passing near the Paris area on Thursday should clear the city before South Africa takes on China at Parc des Princes.

The first half of Thursday night will otherwise be partly cloudy with temperatures of 17-18 C (62-65 F).
