Stormy weather expected for Tuesday's Women's World Cup matches in France
Showers and thunderstorms will once again rumble across a large swath of France on Tuesday, threatening to dampen or disrupt Women's World Cup matches.
Tuesday's matchups will feature the first showing for the United States as they go up against Thailand in Reims.
The match is set to take place at 9 p.m., local time (3 p.m. EDT).
"Showers will be around Reims on Tuesday evening," according to AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Kristina Pydynowski. "However, the steadiest rain will arrive later at night."
A temperature of 14 C (58 F) is expected when the match starts.

Earlier in the day, the weather may have more of an impact on the matches between Chile and Sweden, as well as New Zealand and Netherlands.
Showers and thunderstorms will be around in Le Havre and Rennes, sites of the two matches, on Tuesday afternoon.
In addition to wetting the pitch, any thunderstorm passing over the stadiums can cause a lightning delay.
