    Warmup Coming to Los Angeles

    A major warmup is on the way for Los Angeles, but no rain to help ease the extended drought is expected to go with it.

    Temperatures will soar to around 90 degrees by Monday with plenty of sunshine.

    High temperatures will head toward record territory on Tuesday with a high that may reach the 1989 record of 92 degrees F, more than 20 degrees above normal for this time of year.

    Sandwiched around Tuesday will be two other days that may be 90 F.

    It will remain sunny but turn cooler on Thursday with a high around 75 F, a more normal early April temperature.

    The next chance for rain isn't expected until at least mid-April.
