After experiencing rather mild temperatures this past weekend, colder air will knock down temperatures in Pittsburgh early this week.

High temperatures through Tuesday will not get above freezing and nighttime temperatures will dip down into the teens to near 20 degrees.

A fast-moving system will move through on the last day of 2013 and bring some snow showers to the area.

Temperatures will fall through the 20s for outdoor New Year's Eve activities with RealFeel® temperatures in the teens.

A heavier shot of snow may come later in the week as a couple of systems could come together to form a powerful snowstorm in the Northeast on Thursday into Friday.
