NYC: More Snow on the Way

By By Alex Sosnowski, expert senior meteorologist.
    December 09, 2013, 11:21:58 PM EST

More snow is on the way for the Big Apple early this week after a mix of snow, sleet and rain over the weekend.

Until then, residents of New York City will see periods of rain to kick off the week with temperatures rising into the mid 40s.

Temperatures will fall to around freezing for Tuesday as a quick moving snow storm looks to drop 3 to 6 inches of snow across the area.

This will lead to slippery roads and flight delays starting early on Tuesday and lasting through most the day.

Dry weather looks to return by Wednesday and last through the rest of the week.

The weather will be on the chilly side with highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s each day through Friday.
