After a brief dip in temperatures late in the week, Los Angeles will see a rebound in higher temperatures over the weekend.
Temperatures could tumble into the low 80s by late week. Skies will remain consistently sunny with some intermittent clouds towards midweek.
As the weekend approaches, temperatures could fall into the low 80s on Thursday after morning clouds break away from the area.
Overnight temperatures will follow a similar though less severe drop, falling from the mid-60s to the low 60s by the end of the week.
Daytime highs could rebound slightly over the weekend, however, reaching near the mid-80s for both Saturday and Sunday.
For those looking to take advantage of the lasting heat by hitting the surf, there are some concerns due to the tropical system Simon.
An advisory was issued early Monday morning for sneaker waves, unexpectedly large waves that can spill over rocks and prove dangerous to anyone in the water, for the Santa Barbara area through the weekend.
Anyone looking to surf or swim should take precaution and listen to beach officials before getting into the water.
