The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reports that around 12:10 p.m. CST Saturday a magnitude 4.5 earthquake shook the ground in Oklahoma. It happened 3 miles south-southwest of Arcadia and just 15 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.

The quake was felt at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater while the Oklahoma State University Cowboys took on the Oklahoma University Sooners.

The event was reviewed by a seismologist. The quake occurred about 5 miles below the surface and lasted for a few seconds.

The USGS stated that some small aftershocks could still take place in the aftermath of the main earthquake.
