The pattern has shifted, and we are now going into more of a severe weather pattern across the South Central states. The severe weather events today and Saturday will be moderate compared to what we face next Wednesday. If the operational models are correct, we have a 110-knot jet driving into the midsection of the country that should produce severe storms, including tornadoes, Wednesday afternoon and again Thursday. This could be our first major outbreak of the season for tornadoes if all the parameters come together.
